Sadly, Rock’n'Roll pioneer, Bo Diddley has passed away. He was 79, and instrumental in developing the up-tempo guitar strumming that became the foundation of modern rock.

In shocking and very surprising news, the remainder of Kurt Cobain’s ashes, which belonged to his widow Courtney Love, has gone missing. Possibly stolen. I really, really, really hope that they are just misplaced. Like the time I misplaced my favorite dress only to find it in a bag that I was about to send out to GoodWill.

BrooklynVegan has some pretty amazing news: Bjork and Sigur Ros are laying together in Iceland! I saw them play together in Brooklyn and it was the most amazing thing. I’ve been looking for a reason to go to Iceland… Plus, my friend Parker was there over the weekend and he said people START partying at 1am. BONKERS.
