Redbull & Adderall: Your Afternoon Pick-Me-Up

The Futureheads’ newest album, This Is Not the World, is out NOW in the states! HORAY! The album was self-released by the band, and really fucking incredible. You can buy it on iTunes by CLICKING HERE
Modular’s very own Presets are coming to a town near you (including two night’s in NYC that will be covered on this blog). For tour dates and fun shit, check out their MySpace.
Morrissey will reissue 1995’s Southpaw Grammar this July with remastered audio, three previously unreleased tracks, and new artwork.
BrooklynVegan has some fantastic images of the Thao Nguyen WTGDSD and Rilo Kiley show at Terminal 5 lastnight.
The always innovative David Byrne transformed some building to be something that you can play. I know that sounds really weird to type and explain but thankfully Stereogum does a better job at it.
Thank God! Radiohead’s entire catalog is finally available on iTunes. I have worn out and scratched those fucking CDs to nothing and I don’t want to go into a CD shop and buy them because then some fucking kid is gonna be like “omg, ultragrrrl is such a poseur, she doesn’t even own OK Computer.”
Michelle Nolan has decided to leave Straylight Run and pursue a solo-career. I wonder who she will work with, what direction it will take (Gwen Stefani perhaps???) and if Straylight Run will be less boring now. JUST KIDDING! Sorta.

I’ll write up a story about it. But pretty much I was stumbling around in these giant hills of Paris drinking tons or Pichets of wine and chomping on baguettes. I preferred the salami with gherkins. The soft water makes that bread taste so delicious it’s not even funny. Imagine Soho but with hills from San Francisco. Massive Churches, Cafes, and tons of art galleries. I was actually in search of the cocorosie gallery. So at the intersection of dehydration and wine-ification saw I this giant Union Jack flag painted on a building and all of the sudden said hey that’s funny. I wonder if that’s Pete Doherty’s gallery. It was and it was pretty amazing. The building was a tiny little venue with about 3 or 4 rooms. Some large and medium size pieces and a collection of photos. I’ll have to double check if I took more photos. I can say it was close to Moulin Rouge. This was also the same day I was roaming around Paris St. Germain and Justice was playing an unannounced show at a dance hall where all the these teenage kids were wearing Cross shirts outside…
